▷ 「～際に」と「～に際して」の違い

「～に際して」は、行為や出来事を迎える前の準備、必要なことなどを言うために主に使われます。それに対し、「～際に」は、後ろで述べる行為や出来事ことが「～」の時、間に起きる（起きた）ことを示します。

▷ ～に際しまして

さらに丁寧に言いたいときは、「～に際しまして」も使われます。

▷ ～に際し

「～に際して」の「て」は省略されることもあります。

・報道ほうどうに際しては、細心さいしんの注意ちゅういを払はらい、事実確認じじつかくにんを十分じゅうぶんした上うえで行おこなっております。
We take the utmost care in our reporting, and we have thoroughly verified the facts before reporting.

・今度こんど行おこなわれる選挙せんきょに際し、両党りょうとうは選挙協力せんきょきょうりょくを行おこなう見込みこみです。
The two parties are expected to cooperate in the upcoming elections.
