文法-意味 grammar meaning

【文法解説】Grammar point 1：

「～上で」が一番よく使われるケースとしては、例文1、２のように、何らかの「決定する」「結論を出す」「決断する」といった行為や、また例文3，4のように決断/決定をともなう行為の前提となることを述べるために使われます。例文3.4は決断を必要とする行為について述べています。

1. 両親りょうしんと相談そうだんした上で決きめたいと思おもいます。
I would like to make a decision after consulting with my parents.

2. もっと多おおくの人ひとの意見いけんを聞きいた上で、最終的さいしゅうてきな結論けつろんを出だすべきです。
You should make a final conclusion after listening to more people's opinions.

3. 彼かれは危険きけんを承知しょうちの上で、今回こんかいの作戦さくせんに参加さんかした。
He participated in this operation knowing the risks involved.

4. 成果せいかを出だすまでは二度にどと戻もどってはこないという覚悟かくごの上で、彼かれはその地ちに赴おもむいた。
He went there with the determination never to return until he had achieved results.

また、例文5、6のように連絡や何かを伝える前にする行為を述べる際にも使われます。

5. スケジュールを確認かくにんの上、再度さいどご連絡れんらくいたします。
I will contact you again after confirming the schedule.

6. 社内しゃないで検討けんとうの上、その結果けっかをメールでお知しらせいたします。
After internal review, we will notify you of the results via email.

また、ビジネスなどのフォーマルな場面や文書において、必要となる手順を説明する場合にも使われます。

7. 申請費用しんせいひようをあちらの窓口まどぐちでお支払しはらいの上で、こちらにお越こしください。
Please pay the application fee at the counter over there and then come here.

8. 必要事項ひつようじこうをよくお読よみになったた上で、お申もうし込こみください。
Please apply after carefully reading the required information.
