文法-意味 grammar meaning

～ ようでは/ようじゃ

【例文】

こんな簡単かんたんな仕事しごとでミスするようでは、給料きゅうりょうは上あげられません。
If you make mistakes in such a simple job, I can' t raise your salary.

【意味】
という状態では、

【用法】
「AようではＢ」は「A」という満足するに足りない状態では、「B」だと言いたい時に使われます。「B」には駄目だ、期待できない、といった否定的な内容がきます。

【英語】 
”~youdewa/youja" is used to say that given the unsatisfactory state of A. Negative content such as not good or can't expect goes into "B"

【文法解説】Grammar point 1：

使われ方

「～ようでは」誰かに対して、忠告や、注意、叱責などをするときによく使われます。

1. 5km走はしっただけでそんなに疲つかれてるようでは、フルマラソンは絶対ぜったいに無理むりだよ。
If you are that tired after running just 5km, you will never be able to run a full marathon.

2. こんなことも一人ひとりでできないようでは、一人暮ひとりぐらしなんてやめといたほうがいいよ。
If you can't do even this by yourself, you shouldn't live alone.

接続  formation

動詞・イ形容詞・ナ形容詞・名詞の普通形接続します。

 V（普通形） + ようでは/ようじゃ

 イ形（普通形）  + ようでは/ようじゃ

 ナ形（普通形）  + ようでは/ようじゃ
（非過去肯定の形：だ→な）

If you can't solve such a simple problem, you probably won't pass the upcoming exam.

・この山やまでヒーヒー言いっているようでは、富士山ふじさんには登のぼれないかもね。
If you' re out of breath on this mountain, you may not be able to climb Mt.Fuji.

・あんな弱よわいチームに負まけてるようでは、リーグ戦せん優勝ゆうしょうなど夢ゆめの話はなしだ。
If you lose to such a weak team, winning the league championship is a pipe dream.

・あんな簡単かんたんなうそを見抜みぬけないようじゃ、また誰だれかに騙だまされてしまうよ。
If you can't see through a simple lie like that, someone will cheat you again.

・この程度ていどのことを一人ひとりでできないようじゃ、あなたに仕事しごとを任まかせることはできないよ。
If you can't do this level of work on your own, then I can't trust you to do a job.

・こんなこともできないようじゃ、うちの会社かいしゃではやっていけないよ。
If you can't do even this kind of thing, you won't make it in our company.

・成人せいじんしても親おやに仕送しおくりをもらっているようじゃ、一人前いちにんまえとは言いえない。
If you are still receiving money from your parents when you come of age, you are not a full-fledged person.

・こんな高たかさで怖こわがってるようじゃ、バンジージャンプなんて絶対ぜんたい無理むりだよ。
If you're scared of such heights, you'll never be able to bungee jump.

・練習れんしゅうが嫌きらいだといってるようじゃ、彼かれの上達じょうたつは見込みこめない。
If he is saying he doesn't like to practice, he will never improve.

・試合しあいに負まけたのを人ひとのせいにしているようじゃ、強つよくはなれないよ。
You can't be strong if you blame others for losing a game.
