▷ 用法①
「A だけに B」の「A」に「B」の理由として納得できるだけの事柄を提示する場合に使われます。そして、「A」だから当然「B」だという意味合いを持ちます。
1. 山田さんは10年もアメリカに住んでいただけに、英語が上手だ。
Since Mr. Yamada lived in the U.S. for 10 years, it’s no surprise that he speaks English well.
一緒によく使われる言葉
用法①では、「当然」と一緒に使われることがよくあります。
2. 今日は休日なだけに、当然いつもより人が多かった。
Since it was a holiday, it was only natural that there were more people than usual.

「A だけに B」の「A」に特別な事情を述べて使われます。そして、通常でも「B」ではあるが「A」という特段の理由があるので、よりいっそう「B」であるという意味合いを持ちます。
