【用法】
「～といったらない」は、物事の程度が甚だしいことを強調して言うために使われます。

There is nothing like~/ extremely ~
”~といったらない" is used to emphasize the extreme degree of something

【Grammar point】

■～といったらありはしない

同じ意味で「～といったらありはしない」も使われます。また、カジュアルな会話では「～といったらありゃしない」も使われます。

1. 彼かれのお金かねへのがめつさといったらありはしない。
There is no way to describe his obsession with money.

2. 彼かれの物分ものわかりの悪わるさといったらありゃしない。
His lack of understanding was unbelievable.

接続 formation

N/イ形＋といったらない
※ 名詞は「～さ」という形の名詞と接続することが多いです。

※ イ形容詞は「～ったらない」の形にも接続します。

3. 人ひとの外見がいけんをいじるなんて、気分きぶんが悪わるいったらないよ。
I feel really uncomfortable about you messing with people's appearances.

※「驚く、怖がる、喜ぶ」といった感情に関係する動詞は、「V（ます）よう」の形で接続することができます。

4. 私わたしが離婚りこんしたと知しったときの両親りょうしんの驚おどろきようといったらなかった。
My parents were really surprised when they found out I was divorced.
