文法-意味 grammar meaning

V ＋ところ【時点】

【例文】

①今いまから出でかけるところです。
I'm just about to leave home now.

②今いまあなたの家いえに向むかっているところです。
We're on our way to your house

③今いま家いえの前まえに着ついたところです。
I have just arrived in front of your house.

【意味】
①「～」する直前
②「～」している最中
③「～」が終わった直後

【用法】
動作のどの時点（直前、最中、直後）にあるか強調していう時に使われます。

【英語】
”-tokoro" is used when you want to emphasize at what point in the action (just before, during, or just after).

I'm sorry. I'm about to head home. Can we do this tomorrow?

A：Bさん、頼たのんどいた書類しょるい作つくってくれた？
Mr. B, have you made the documents I asked for?

B：すいません。丁度ちょうどいまからやるところです。
I'm sorry. I'm just about to do it now.

A：サッカーの中継ちゅうけい始はじまった？
Has the soccer game started?

B：今いまから始はじまるところ。
It's just about to start.

A：何時頃なんじごろに着つきそう？
When do you think you'll get here?

B：今いま向むかっているところ。あと５分ふんぐらいで着つくと思おもう。
I'm on my way. I think I'll be there in about five minutes.

A：もしもし、今いま時間じかん大丈夫だいじょうぶ？
Hello, do you have a minute?

B：今いま丁度ちょうど打うち合あわせしているところだから、また後あとでかけ直なおすね。
I'm just in a meeting right now, so I'll call you back later.

A：Bさん、山田部長やまだぶちょうが会社かいしゃ辞やめるって話はなし聞きいた？
Mr. B, did you hear that Mr.Yamada is quitting the company?

B：丁度ちょうどさっき、別べつの人ひとから聞きいたところです。
I just heard about it from another person a while ago.

A：もしもし、まだ家いえにいる？　ちょっと持もってきて欲ほしいものがあって。
Hello, are you still at home?　There's something I need you to bring me.

B：ごめん、さっき家いえを出でたところ。
I'm sorry, I just left the house.

A：Bさん、今日きょう暇ひま？どこかに遊あそびに行いこうよ。
Mr. B, are you free today? Let's go out somewhere.

B：いいね。丁度ちょうど今日きょうの宿題しゅくだいも終おわったところだから、遊あそびにいけるよ。
Great. I've just finished my homework for today, so I can go.
