【文法解説】Grammar point  1：

「～次第」は例(1)(3)のように、状態の変化などを述べることには基本使われません。その場合は例(2)のように「～とすぐに」や例(4)のように「～たらすぐに」といった文型などが使われます。

(1) 私わたしは乗のり物ものに乗のり次第、気持きもちちが悪わるくなる。✖
As soon as I get on a vehicle, I start to feel sick.

(2) 私わたしは乗のり物ものに乗のるとすぐに、気持きもちが悪わるくなる。〇
As soon as I get on a vehicle, I start to feel sick.

(3) 私わたしは牛乳ぎゅうにゅうを飲のみ次第、お腹なかを壊こわすんです。✖
I get sick to my stomach as soon as I drink milk.

(4) 私わたしは牛乳ぎゅうにゅうをのんだらすぐに、お腹なかを壊こわすんです。〇
I get sick to my stomach as soon as I drink milk.

「A 次第 B」の「B」の部分には例(6)(8)のように、動作主が意志を持って行う行為を表す動詞が来ます。例(7)(8)のように言うこともできますが、「～次第」の方がフォーマルな場面で使われる表現です。

(6) 彼かれが来き次第、会議かいぎを始はじめます。〇
As soon as he arrives, we'll begin the meeting.

(7) 彼かれが来きたらすぐに、会議かいぎを始はじめます。〇
As soon as he arrives, we'll begin the meeting.

(8) その仕事しごとが終おわり次第、こちらに来きてださい。〇
As soon as that work is done, please come here.

(9) その仕事しごとが終おわったらたらすぐに、こちらに来きてください。〇
As soon as that work is done, please come here.

【文法解説】Grammar point 2 ：

「～次第」は例(10)のように既に起こったことには基本的に使われません。

(9) 詳細しょうさいが分わかり次第、連絡れんらくします。〇
We will contact you as soon as we know more.

(10) 詳細しょうさいが分わかり次第、連絡れんらくした。△
I contacted him as soon as I got the details.

 V（ます形）   ます + 次第
（終わり次第、到着次第）

＜例外＞

「ーする」という形の動詞においては、例(11)の代わりに例(12)のように「し」を省略した形が使われることもあります。

(11) 体調たいちょうが回復かいふくし次第、仕事しごとに復帰ふっきしたい。
I want to return to work as soon as I feel better.

(12) 体調たいちょうが回復かいふく次第、仕事しごとに復帰ふっきしたい。
I want to return to work as soon as I feel better.
